About Mason

I reside in South Scottsdale located off of Thomas & 68th, and have spent almost the entirety of my professional career in the City of Scottsdale, which I am proud to call my home. Prior to moving to Scottsdale, I lived in Tempe, AZ and attended Arizona State University as a National 4-Year Scholarship Recipient for the United States Army Reserve Officers Training Corps program, and the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta. I was also apart of the Edson Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute which is a selective program aimed towards supporting entrepreneurs.

Prior to moving to Arizona, I resided in Kansas City, Missouri, where I attended Staley High School.

While in high school, I served four consecutive terms as my Class President, was an avid member of the Speech & Debate team, and captained the tennis team. I was also a Business Accelerator Candidate for the Northland Center for Advanced Professional Studies which fosters an environment for entrepreneurial students to start and grow their startups.

While applying to the United States Military Academy, I received nominations from U.S. Congressman, Sam Graves, and U.S. Senator, Roy Blunt.

Upon graduation, I ranked 13th in my class of 440, and received the academic distinctions of Summa Cum Laude, National AP Scholar, & Academic Letter Recipient.

I am an American Legion Boys State alumni, which is among the most selective educational programs in the country for government instruction. At Boys State, I became the first citizen in the program's 85-year history to pass the Missouri Boys State Bar Exam without attending the law school.

I also self-funded and founded 3 businesses before the age of 18.

Gateway Lawn Services was a full service lawn and landscaping company that I started at around the age of 14. Upon disposition, the company's customer accounts had grown to about 40 per week.

While in high school, I also started a clothing brand, Grind Attire LLC, that I ran in congruence with a garment print shop (Primal Designs LLC). At the peak of the brand's existence, I was generating over $6,500 in monthly revenue.

I also served as the Director of Development and Public Relations for the 501(c)(3) non-profit, Forty Love Organization, which holds numerous charitable events to benefit the homeless.

Ultimately, I was appointed as the President of the Young Entrepreneurs Society of Kansas City (YES KC), which focuses on empowering and connecting young entrepreneurs in the KC Metro Area.

At 19, I began working as a freelance marketing consultant. Some notable clients I've worked with previously are: Welcome to Arizona, which has the largest Arizona-specific social media following, Ipsum Creative, which owns & operates numerous successful hospitality venues around the country, and Happy Dad Seltzer, which is one of the largest beverage companies in the world.

I currently work as an Commercial Investment Sales Agent at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, which is the largest privately-held commercial real estate brokerage in the continent. Matthews™ Real Estate Investment Services neither acquires, nor develops commercial property. Since its formation in 2015, Matthews™ has completed over 15,000 transactions, and is widely recognized as having the best commercial real estate training in the country.

I hold three (3) real estate licenses in the States of Arizona, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Since the start of my career, I have hyperspecialized my brokerage in NE, WY, MT, ND, & SD. I acquired a roughly eighty-percent (80%) market share in the State of Nebraska for all self-storage transactions within my first calendar year of brokerage.

Due to my experience and success in the field of commercial real estate, I am hoping to provide the city with a knowledgeable perspective on future developments in the area to ensure that it makes sense for the residents of Scottsdale.
